Defeat for the Dons at Eastleigh came in controversial fashion. Here, Sam Elliott bring you the player-by-player ratings from Saturday’s highly-charged 2-1 loss in Hampshire.
James Pullen: Although Spitfires’ Tom Jordan clearly cheated, why wasn’t the corner collected? 6
Jay Conroy: A torrid second half. At fault for Jonny Dixon’s eventual match winner. 5
Alan Inns: His idiotic outburst at the end may have come from the heart but the sending off will rule him out of most of the run in. 5
Ben Judge: He’ll have a huge bearing on what happens next for Wimbledon. 6
Chris Hussey: Distribution was awful. Didn’t exploit the space he was given. 6
Dwane Lee: Needs to start recreating his January-February form. And fast. 6
Sam Hatton: Off the pace again – like the team an injection of confidence is quickly required. 7
Tom Davis: His return to form perhaps the only plus point. 7 STAR MAN
Rob Saunders: Are his set pieces honestly better than Chris Hussey’s? 6
Kezie Ibe: A good first start and nearly nicked a point but for Jason Matthews’ fine finger-tip save. 7
Jon Main: Didn’t give the Eastleigh backline enough to think about. 6
SUBS:
Elliott Godfrey: 7 (On for Davis’80)
Danny Kedwell: 7 (On for Lee’72)
Not used: Gindre, Haswell, Finn.
