It was a family affair for four Isleworth students who collected their GCSE results today.
The Siddique family - Tuba, 25, Sheela, 23, and Abdul Wasi, 22 - came to the UK from Afghanistan in 2006 and have spent the past year studying at Uxbridge College.
It rounded off a perfect week for the students who celebrated their sister Deeba's success in her AS-level exams last Thursday.
Abdul Wasi was the first to discover his results. He got A* grades in maths and physics and As in English language, biology and chemistry.
He said: “I have done well but I missed the A* by a few points in two of my subjects and I am disappointed about that.”
The siblings live with their family in Great West Road, Isleworth.
