A homeless man has appeared in court charged with raping a teenager near a Brentford church.
David Simapuka, 43, was charged with two counts of rape, false imprisonment, actual bodily harm and threats to kill, at Feltham Magistrates' Court yesterday.
The 17-year-old was attacked near St Faith's Church, in Windmill Road, as she waited for an E2 bus at about 1am on May 25.
Simapuka was remanded in custody and will appear at Isleworth Crown Court at a date to be fixed.
